Cakefetti blinks looking up at the sky as she exits the cave. Still raining on the outside then, she muses. The caves were a nice welcome shelter from the downpour. She casts her glance over to what was once before a beautiful shrine. Now in quite a state of disrepair. Vines twisting and covering the sides of and roof if it, threatening to engulf it altogether. It is quite obvious that no one has cared for the shrine in a very, very, long time. She walks a bit closer, up the steps to look around and peeks inside. It is in just as bad of shape as the outside. Bits of old moldy and fermented fruit are scattered about. The wind has blown piles and piles of leaves in. There is a layer of lichen that seems ready to take over the entire inside of the structure. The feeling of comfort that the shrine seems to radiate in stark contrast to its appearance. She settled back on her haunches and thinks on what to do. “Obviously something has to be done. But where to start?” She swishes her
Cakefetti was quite excited by the turn of events. She was very intrigued by finding the shrine of Fengdi. Maybe it would help in her quest to stop the rain. The map would be so handy, keeping her from getting hopelessly lost. She smiled at the thought of little Lingxin. She really hoped the little Tanuki got to feeling better and made amends with her brother. Fetti hummed a quiet tune as she looked at the map pondering which way she wanted to take. The merchants trail seemed the most logical choice, but she just couldn't get the path that led through the crystal caves out of her mind. Furrowing her brow as she contemplated the pros and cons, she finally decided to head off in the direction of the caves. She had a map to guide her and was great at following directions, the lure of adventure was just too strong. She rolled the map back up and tucked it in a worn satchel, setting off in the direction of the caverns. She reached the mountain soon enough. There she stopped for a
